TYPE SPECIMEN BOOK

I designed a type specimen book that uniquely displays the character and history of the typeface, Helvetica. I highlighted the key elements of Helvetica: a timeless typeface that embodies simplicity and versatility. I chose red in this design book because of the tone it conveys: one of passion yet alertness, juxtaposed with the word ‘golden’ in the title. Overall, I wanted to display Helvetica as an untouchable typeface. I implemented the origin history of Helvetica as well as the defining characteristics in a 5”x 5”, 14 page booklet that was printed and presented.
